Hello first time,
I have already read through many test reports and search for a long time for a good camcorder. So far I have the Canon MVX250i - only this one has unfortunately loose contact with the zoom lever. The repair seems to be no longer worth it. Especially, this model is not what I would be happy for a long time.
The new MiniDV camcorder should be on record. Mic input and headphone output are of course mandatory. Practically of course, would be synonymous DV input and output and AV input and output (digital analog converter), just the internal DA converter is sometimes quite handy. Of course, good manual controls for exposure, focus, etc. ..
There must be no HD camcorder, mainly the 16:9 is very good quality as before. However, what is very important: Lanc connection to the camcorder on a tripod to good use, this option is missing me so far unfortunately. And unfortunately, at the cheaper Canon models feature like this one "forgotten". An optical Image Stabilization would be perfect, with the digital, it is only half a thing, because the image quality is lost.
Priced, I can not even be surprised what it currently s.Markt there.
I'm curious to see what their recommendations for me can I ever thank you in advance:)

These cameras, I have already viewed very carefully, really perfect, even optical Image Stabilization, etc. However, these models lack exactly the Lanc port. I think I have the last few years now synonymous lived without, but practically it would do.
Is there currently are no comparable cameras with Lanc connection of other manufacturers?
Otherwise, I look both Canon models even more closely.

Can the camera (or cameras), the videos still synonymous to "normal" resolution playback, because HD Ready device has not yet all. My video editing software already supports HDV, but I suppose at once that the video via Firewire in earlier programs in the old resolution benefits, or does it? Because HD requires so much more s.Leistung but what I do not always need to be, if some shorts really are only for the Internet.
Excused these beginner questions, but that would really interest me.
Otherwise I have some info together and will be once my dealer with questions annoy: D

But that goes: Every HDV camcorder, the recorded material and convert internal via firewire in SD Resolutionan pass the calculator.

Well since then I calmed down once, would be stupid 1400 pixels on the HDD to play, if I for example, only 600 pixels output size needed. Probably I have here in Austria still wait before I put this camera anywhere even debug can, for Canon, Austria has the start date indicated with April.

I would to SonyHC 7 /) access - is better in the hand (at least in my ;-)) and has Lanc! ! ! - I was at a purchase criterion for underwater housing. Otherwise, Lanc a great thing when it comes to the Cam remotely such as on a tripod.
PS Did you ever beautiful underwater recordings on an HD screen view ... You think because the fish come at any moment from the television ...

Underwater shots eh I actually do not, it would stop just for "normal" shooting s.Tripod bring something with me. Although I have managed without it so synonymous am. The remote control would indeed synonymous again an ordinary rod cost money: /
S.Rande detail: The first of me Cam, Canon MV500 (about 400 or 500) had a Lanc port. Really nasty tactics of Canon Lanc now until the XM2 to the 2000 Euro costs ...
I will be the models in any case, once in the business a try:)

I have recently bought the Canon HV20 and before long with the Canon MV600i filmed.
Image quality of the HV20 is super! Compared with the old camera there are worlds! But the down conversion (HDV to DV) in the camera, so if you have DV-IN keys and the film in an editing program as a DV-AVI aufnimmst is not so great.

Whether you need Stereo umbedingt but I am relatively new, this should be a TonFachmann here and explain. I do not have a stereo Mics.
But can you advise of good times nem Pro weisste then what should and what not more.

PS: To Rhode .... so we should like to Rhode Mics synonymous use of the really good, and the price synonymous do better than the Sennheiser ..... so if that NEN bissel Equitment Money is flowing into another, you can enjoy synonymous Rhode take. (Indeed, + Tripod head, bags / suitcases, filter, etc and after that must be purchased after synonymous.)
As a general rule to buy but just once a Sennheiser years and has good results so that I was advised years ago times. In addition to boxes and Genelec Studio Sound MOTU interfaces ;-)
Conclusion = great save and pea soup to eat ;-))

Gude Andy .... ne already NEN few years ago ;-) Do but still, when we were 3 years ago and were at Thomann for 3000 euro bought Sennheiser Mics. Really you should less ....... the short-term harm to the Gedächniss.
But yes NEN guest wrote here synonymous times like this which keep a life long, but now I was already aware of ;-)

@ B. DeKid: I have just read that some Canon cams problems with the mono jack connectors, so. I personally would be synonymous for Sennheiser, we'll see. Up to 200 euros, I can go to the Microphone, it has to be indoors in such a camcorder. I vorallem Microphone certainly much longer than the cam used can / will.
@ Guest: The MKE-400 looks so great times, sounds good and even so small fantastisch :-)
Thank you for the first time, I would still have views of HV20/30 owners interested in the use of these microphones, so if one is really satisfied.

The Rode NTG is worlds better than the small and cheap and brings Sennheiser house of 10-year warranty with it. This is top and is really only of microphones outperforms the dual (and more) cost

Another question at the end, I did a lot of issues about that now, but what video light, could you give me the quick nor recommend? I had previously two used a Unomat, one of Hama and times for a Project borrowed a Canon (VL-10). The Unomat of was terrible, even the better of Hama and the Canon of course spitze. Is there something similar like the Canon VL-10 at a lower price? The 100 euro for the light are not the problem, but Charger ( ¬ 200) and Batteries ( ¬ 100) is a bit expensive for a total of 400 euros.
