With respect to the controls - you can set aperture or time, other parameters of each drive on automatic. Goes off and open up the lens - but these are still limitations halt.

The camcorder features to mpeg-2 transport streams. One really needs the cutting ability, as for an HDV camcorder. How good it is with you - depends on the calculator and of AP Pro from. By processing this material in AP Pro, I have no experience - in Edius and Vegas geht das

The JVC PD1 is a very special part of your purpose, and in no way recommended.

Canon XM2 would be in the 4:3-format probably the optimum, but is probably not quite get in your price frame to be (on eBay s.ca. 1500 euros).
The Sony900E would be lighter and smaller alternative with comparable equipment, but quality is not quite ran s.The Canon.

Whether you an HDV cam like the HD1 want is a principled decision. About the pros and cons between DV and HDV (eg, hardware requirements for the post) you should inform yourself beforehand and accurate.

Or a Panasonic NV-GS500? Can be synonymous but to settle in the semi-professional field. The Panas got very good reviews in recent times. HDV, I would take net, the Calculator and the editing programs support this format explicitly, but are still too slow. DV would be the best solution for me jedefalls. Von wegen Bandsalat, quality takes precedence. DV will be replaced though, but for now they provide the best cutting distance with options, and quality (of HDV apart) The XM2 would really be ideal, as I said, with 1700 ¬ a little expensive. The SonyDCR-TRV900 seems to be quite good. I still think that the Panasonic NV-GS500/250 provide an equivalent quality.

The JVC is obviously synonymous start normally in miniDV PAL. The recording in mpeg2 refers only to the 720p recording.
