Sequence Settings for the current TV format

Frage von Lindow:
September 2010

Hi,

a Project in Final Cut Pro is to be created for use in the current TV format (ARD and ZDF). What are the sequence settings to correct?

So far I have:-format 1920 x 1080 HDTV 1080i (16:9)
- Quadaratische pixels
- Odd rows
- 25 images
"Must be akitiert Anamorphic"??

I am aware that the current TV format is p 720th But I am first time to set the correct size.

I'm doing at the moment mainly the recruitment of the right size because I have title and display fonts, which of course
within the current TV picture to be visible and not be cut off because the image size is set incorrectly in the Sequwenzeinstellungen.

Thanks in advance.

Full HD 720p and have no "safe area" or "underscan area" more. The Picture is not displayed on tube televisions, but yes only to "displays". So take a "rule of thumb" safe area, that's enough. If you like your movie in the SD-Pal is changed, you should assume that synonymous to include in your question.

If you know your goal is the 720p should be, why do you want to invest in FullHD your Project? * * Grübel

Hi,
where can I find the "Safe Area" (security box)?

Now I know that "Annamorphotisch is not" akitiviert .- right?

The Picture kommit with 1920 x1080 and I would not reduce it at first. As already described, this is my main concern is that the image content is not synonymous actually cut off. I had, in the first part of the movie made the mistake of "anamorphic to activate" and then everything had to re-render because there were problems with the border areas. At my place, namely, there is a tube radio and a flat screen. While done on the modern flat panel display right, the picture on the tube device is represented differently, so I'm not sure what is right now. What is changed then the sender is not my thing.

Oh well. Millions of tube TVs are still in operation. TV is almost exclusively SD, 1080i synonymous your production is broadcast primarily in SD. The safe areas must therefore be considered unchanged. Also not all Flat TV show the complete technical picture.

Incidentally, the ARD now the standard production format 1080i, 720p no longer interested. This format is only sent.

Of course there is synonymous to a modern displays overscan, which is so synonymous from the setter. It is important in any case, keep at least a safe area in the eye (Title safe is just, well, just for security). Both can be found in the Viewer and Canvas upper right below the icon (which can be displayed under the synonymous Picture & wireframe, etc.). Important synonymous for the cameraman, the camera should be corresponding guides can show.

Hello Axel,

in between I'm reingesehen again and found what was meant.
These frames are in my area anyway always active. I was just unsure as described above, because the Sony Studio Monitor in the function of 16:9 - in the Height Picture stretched (distorted by vertical) showed, while the flat screen the picture shows exactly. It is a question to me both on tube gear as synonymous with modern flat-screen TVs - so what about the audience - to be sure.
