I have a Sharp Viewcam Z VL-Z5.
for several days there was a sudden the error message "dew" on the display.
the "dew" is red-colored on the display.
initially constant, then flashing.
After a short time the device switches off.
What's going on?
The documentary is nothing on the subject.

"Dew" is English and means something like dew condensation.
In other words, your camera gives you a warning that you have condensation / moisture in the camera.
Camera s.einem dry place at room temperature for several hours with cassette tray and leave open the problem is settled. Look in your manual, as synonymous what's in them about it.
Operating instructions should be read much more often. They're not just there to make heavier the package.
