The DM-100 has a permanently attached mini-advanced-foot thingy. Neither can you put it in the standard XA 10 the mount, you can still connect a cable somewhere. \u003cbr /\u003e It fits so exclusively to the Mini Advanced Shoe-thingy - to the XA has not to my knowledge 10. \u003cbr /\u003e\u003cbr /\u003e Why do you want just the DM-100? The great advantage of the XA-10 with his microphone and his mount XLR connectors is precisely that you can use other microphones and just not rely on the proprietary stuff is Canon.
