Since I've decided that my old Video8 tapes to Digitizer (using iMovie / Mac), I referred to used cameras around.
For me there were two models in question. Although I am smart about Google wanted to make, I found out is not whether the two Sony: CCD-TR800E CCD-TR880E and the desired requirements (iLink / FireWire port). Could I perhaps help someone who knows one of these models?

What you need are those DIGITAL8 of Sony camcorder with a built in analog-digital converters and possess recordings of Video8 tapes digitally spend. EBay had discovered two models, which contain the desired function to be: SONY TRV-530E or DCR-TRV340E.
Unfortunately I find no entry in the forum, which includes the above models.

In the manuals of both cameras are under the chapter "Dubbing a tape with DV cable" in essence the following: "If one is being played Hi8/Standard8-Aufzeichnung - The DV OUT is a digital image signal." So work.
