Sony: GPS for photos of thomas - 21 Aug 2006 12:37:00
The SonyGPS module CS1 stores for each recorded Stillimage the exact time and exact location of the recording in its internal memory. The computer will be displayed after dubbing the data for each Stillimage the respective location via Google Maps. The whole works only with the included software for Windows (s.Windows 2000) and Sony Cyber-shot cameras, but maybe this idea is made up by, yes, and other Manufacturers offer similar devices or software - and why not synonymous holiday videos with GPS data provided? Synchronization is the time at which the photos were shot - the SonyCS1 functions as a simple GPS tracker, which records its data onto the internal memory as the log, which the software then compares with the photos to the Exif data to the to complement each geographic location.
