I have a DigiCam Sonyand of about 70 Hi8 tapes to DVD to be written. I have PC, DVD recorders should be purchased.
s.welche variant is easier and faster? (am a layman)
b) what disadvantages or the other way?
c) if a DVD recorder, whereupon the Purchase to look out for?

If you have your original recordings from a worth seeing film want to do you can use the DVD recorder forget - in the best case you can a few shaky scenes easily removed - then it must be the PC. Is it just a matter of the tapes to DVD to play, the DVD recorder is better.

Still good advice unasked afterwards: just do not erase the original tapes! Even the best technology does not, the original quality without compromising on DVD to burn.
