My digital camera of SONY (DSC-S70) is increasingly recognized as a removable disk, but not the camcorder. I have tried s.mehreren PCs with Win 2000 and Win XP Pro SP2. In search of the forums I've read that you have a firewire port s.besten to connect with the PC is increasing. Dignity for the PC when connected via a Firewire port, for example, recognize the camcorder as a removable disk? The USB Drivers of Sonyhabe I downloaded, but it does not work. it's true, DV camcorder (DV, MiniDV, DVCAM, Digital8) should be placed in via Firewire. However, a camcorder can not be used as a removable disk. One can only DV camcorder and PC to exchange data between depending on the camcorder, and synonymous only in the direction of camcorder -> PC.
What further complicated the matter, is the operating system of your PC. SP2 is known that it excludes Firewire devices, because Miniweich plans to market the low powered USB port.
Hi Markus, Thank you for your quick response. I'm going to buy myself time then a Firewire card and an associated cable and try it on the calculator with Win 2000 SP4. I think it is synonymous exacerbates that I have on my computers, only USB 1.0. Thanks for the help Frank
