I have a question about quality. My concern is purely about the quality of the videos! price, equipment, etc., play no role.
I own at the moment SonyDCR-TRV24E. Is it worth switching to JVC GZ-MC500?

Hi Paul,
In terms of image quality, the earlier the better TRV 24 NE track, the data rate of Mini DV (25 Mbps) is significantly higher than the compressed MPEG 2 MC 500 shots.
For me to speak only the direct scene access, dubbing, no drive noise and the size of the MC 500, in almost every other score scores the older Sony.
One of the best posts here (in the forum of the hit) was written to a woman of 2005 (Anya?) Take time search feature "My first experience with the JVC MC 500" or more generally JVC MC 500, the disadvantages of MPEG 2 hard disks / SD or DVD Camcorders are mercilessly exposed.
