SonyFX - 1080i Import - Export 16:9 - FCE

Frage von spreemike:
Juni 2009

A big hello to the round,

I'm really in despair at me and understand why after months of reading, finally get to write on. In the hope you can understand my problem at times of the blower help.

I guess with a SonyFX7 in at 1080i. So 1440 x 1080 pixels, which consequently is a 4:3 format.
Can I import the whole in the FCE with AIC 1080i the picture is totally crushed.
Import I would in 1920x1080, it seems perfectly normal, but in the format takes the Cam but did not give up.

In the Settings object is 1440x1080 to see, but in a pure QT Export Picture looks at 1920x1080 normally.

Can someone tell me where my understanding of the problem lies?

Thank you very much,

regards

Mike

Antwort von Jogi:

HDV 1440x1080 is a 16:9 format!

Antwort von spreemike:

Huh?

Would not 1440 x 810 a 16:9 format and 1440 x 1080 a 4:3?!

Maybe I still synonymous understood nothing at all ...

Antwort von Jogi:

All HD formats are in 16:9 format, whether 1920x1080 or 1440x1080! 720x576 would be a format in 4:3 Seitenverhältinis!

Antwort von spreemike:

Ok, but how is it to the above-described problem that 1080i always looks pressed and only the output to 1920x1080 vernünftigt looks?

I still do not understand where the error in the chain: recording, capturing, cutting, lies export.

Antwort von Jogi:

The Timeline format must also be in your host NLE format!

Antwort von spreemike:

hmm ok, so do you mean I use the wrong material recordings.
I will check again.

erstmal danke!

Antwort von frm:

No. of HDV codec is only with a pixel aspect ratio in (1.33)
The heist a pixel is not square as with Full HD 1920x1080 = 1:1
For HDV 1440 x 1080 = 1.33

Is synonymous with PAL times been the case.
You're not wrong except that you have your project settings of this pixel aspect ratio (aspect ratio) have to adjust.

In FCE, the Project with "Easy Setup" on AppleIntermediateCodec be 1080i50.
This menu item you can see if the box "show all" is a check mark.
I have FX7 a synonymous, for me it's synonymous with FCE 3.5.

Antwort von spreemike:

Thank you both, I'm just on the export and then go again through the settings and sign me back.
