Infoseite // SonyFX1 is not recognized s.PC

Dear Slashcam community,

I borrowed a SonyHDR-FX1, with which I have previously worked for a live stream. Now I want to shoot with her but synonymous a small project that is due tomorrow.

I have now tried to import the camera shots s.meinen PC to make sure that I can use the recordings. However, nothing happens when I s.den Camera PC (XP), plug in and turn on. Pinnacle and Movie Maker even under no tape devices are detected.

I must admit though, that it is my first tape-camera and I have never imported pre-recorded on tape, or thereof. However, should the problem with my having to do anything! I have changed synonymous Camera menu all possible settings, all without success ... Just as the attempts to whether I should turn on the camera first and then connect the other way or, in two variants, does nothing!

If I could help someone, that would be very great!

EDIT: Even if I set the camera to CAMERA, no device is detected. The FireWire port is not to "blame", I run s.ihr actually my ext. hard drive. but it can be s.Kabel? It is not the original of the camera, but of a FireWire video interface ...

It can of course s.der Firewire socket on the camera are synonymous. Or s.Kabel or s.beiden.

Since you have to again for your equipment or someone to check another.

is always recommended prior to connecting the two devices. General (No matter what the Manufacturer says) Then s.besten yet been discharged, especially in carpet. So heating touch or something. Voodoo may be synonymous, but Voodoo synonymous helps if you can not turn thinks :-)
