Hello,
zuzulegen I have before me a SonyHC-17 camcorder. Can we make with this camera photos? I know that this has no memory card slot, so it can only store on tape. From the data I will unfortunately not smart.

If it really saves the images on a tape, is the utmost stupidity. The image quality is then 640x480 ...
They are then no more photos.

It is true that both the Stillimage-Resolutionwesentlich higher than the synonymous Stillimage-important image quality will be better - if we can give reviews from faith, the images are still junk. As well makes every Billigknipse better pictures. So Stay IR remote control, docking station and the intelligent accessory shoe - all nice add-ons - if they are really synonymous regularly uses. Otherwise, the 153, - ¬ extra charge are a waste of money. I have my DCR-HC17 that is also bought from Media Online including shipping for 299, - ¬. The actual hardware on which it really matters, such as the video chip, the lens and the microphone of my knowledge about the whole DCR-HC series are identical. For more than 400, - ¬ I would buy rather then the 3-chip camcorder Panasonic NV-GS75, which is offered as an obsolete model in guenstiger.de already for 435, - ¬. Since then at least you have a much better picture quality.
I am with my DCR-HC17 very satisfied, picture-and sound quality to be absolutely fine. For the saved ¬ 153, - I could not even buy a really decent digicam, if I had not even 2nd ;-)

PS: the "pictures" are actually stored in the DCR-HC17 only as Stillimage in PAL release on tape.

there are still a few improvements in the HC 39 to 17,
Battery included larger FP 50, reels 16 / 9 (and 16 / 9 LCD), larger CCD. naja and those referred to others.
Jederselber should decide whether the multipoint bring what.
