Hello,
I consider the HC-3 to purchase.
Use of the camera is in the classroom area, which means that recordings should be made by the lecturer.

I wonder whether the picture right for you.
HDV why? what is the final format (dvd-sd/internet)?
how are the lighting conditions? how are the data processed?
