I am currently trying to SonyHC32E old VHS videos to my hard drive to copy. The connection zwsichen analog video and the camera is done with the supplied AV cable. The link cam to Laptop with DV / Firewire cable.
In the menu, I asked AV to DV Out to ON.

The Cam is not a cassette.
