Hello,
here in the forum someone has experience with the SonyHC42 and Mac OSX 10.4? Would love to buy the SonyHC42, but I'm not quite sure to understand my Mac and the HC42 really. I read somewhere on the net times that there are problems with this combination.

to my knowledge not.
The Manufacturers supply a few happy times when the software provided only a Windows CD is known. But the Sony program is to forget anyway.
Mac users have iMove synonymous with such a good beginners program there.
Mac users have better editing software anyway, and can rightly admitted.
Firewire transfer of HC 42 was indeed unteranderem developed by Steve Jobs - he is a cornerstone of Apple / Mac, one of the founders.
There should be no significant problems when I look at the SP 2 and Co. look at problems in Windows, which are posted here very often.
Unfortunately, people rarely give Slashcam when they work with a Mac, whose experiences were not bad what is it (because of problems such ?)....

Although I have no further information on exactly this combination, but it would surprise me (synonymous), if the Firewire connection is not precisely s.einem Mac to come about. - What kind of problems, of which you have just heard?
BTW: "The box said: Requires Windows XP or better. So I bought a Mac." ;-)

So, yesterday got the SonyHC42 ordered on the net :-) Will you then tell time, whether the part is compatible with my Mac or not. Thanks for the answers, you have me make my purchase something easier!
