Frage von Chrissigorn:

Hello,

the first test reports are still waiting, but soon it's done. The new models of high-definition camcorder of Sony Proceed to the next round.

I'm going to get this spring, a new camera up, but I do not know what.

So far I have only a review of the Canon HV30 read the SonyHDR-HC9 is already out there.
The differences for the HDR-HC7, however marginally, as well as with the Canon in comparison to its predecessor model.

When is the exact release date for the HDR-SR11 and 12?
And how will the renewed image sensors on the image quality? 3.8 million effective pixels in 16:9 format but can be impossible on a 1 / 3, 1 "chip for good low-light images provide? Or does it?
Will the new cams actually better, or are they just expensive high-tech gimmicks to attract consumers?

Thanks for the quick reply, but a real test is not yet ...:)

"Of course, we do not have the facilities to perform our usual battery of tests during CES, but we can make some predictions about the performance of the HDR-SR12. Normally, we'd assume that because of the reduced size and imager The increase in pixel density, the noise would increase. However, Sonyhas made pains to stress that the new technology on the Exmore CMOS chip and the BIONZ processing - both borrowed from their Alpha SLR line - will help to contain the noise. We're not getting our hopes up just because of some fancy, new terminology. At best, hoping that we're hoping that the noise will only be equal to the noise from last year's models. If there is, in fact, less noise than previous, we'll be delighted. If there's more noise, we're going to rail against the system (s.per usual) that promotes megapixel image quality over numbers.

(We will be delighted if, in fact, less image noise is present as before. If there is more image noise comes, we will curse the system, which has a larger number of quality s.Pixeln prefer.)

I personally can not imagine me that the quality is much better ... I hope, however.

Interesting would be synonymous to first learn how the performance of the HDR-HC9 is. Not by tests, but users of the forum here. :)

And how are the pictures in low light? Is there enough manual controls?

Antwort von stevenk:

The only manual controls are through the touch screen-handling course, something "Fummel", but there are good presets for low-light useine default "candlelight." Thus, one can indeed work.
"True" manual controls over fixed buttons, slider or s.Lens rings are due to the small size of course not there. But I think who would buy one anyway FX 1 / 7
People with a HC 9 want to either "a little", or use them (like me) as a second or third device.

Well, for a FX 7, I have not the wherewithal ...

If I buy me a camera, then they should provide decent image quality and easy to handle.
Perhaps Manual shutter control and exposure. The Canon has the HV20/30 as far as I know, the Sonyist in manual handling is not as user friendly ...

Na was then glad that you did not! For around 1000 or 1150 euros you get the SR11/12 synonymous in Germany, while you your "bargain" thanks inches and more than 1300 euro tax would have cost. The main problem, however, is an entirely different: South Korea has the NTSC television standard, and if your dealer just a device for the domestic market (which is likely), so the pleasure is in PAL-Europe quickly.
