Hello together,

I have my Sony camcorder HDR-SR12E purchased. I now come with a case not quite clear:

Can I adjust to what mode the camera takes (either 16:9 or 4:3), or if the camcorder is always at 16:9?

Or is the conversion of 16:9 to 4:3 only for the output, so if I use the Camera s.den Television afterwards?

Since it is in HD 4:3 area no longer exist, this question is yes only for SD video (or perhaps even in still images). Times I do that the SR12 does not generally 4:3-videos can absorb, but clarity is certainly a look in the manual.
