SonyHDR-TG3 or Canon HF100

Frage von vangog:
Mai 2008

Hello,
after a few test shots, I can still not decide: is the SonyHDR-TG3 or Canon HF100.
Has someone compared the two camcorders together?
First I bought SonyHDR-TG3. From handling, and Big Switch - simply perfect.
The video was unfortunately not always sharp enough and in high winds is no longer heard. Also wehrend movement has Electronic Image Stabilization am not very liked.
Then I took SonyHDR-TG3 brought me back and Canon HF100.
After so many praises for this camcorder, I expected something more.
The video is somewhat sharper than for smaller Sony, but not so serious, that I am now against Sony "trouser pockets Cam convinced. Optical Image Stabilization and Canon of windbreak filter bring in some improvements in the whole picture, but not really clear. Sound recording in DD 2.0 is only for me, Stereo, DD 5.1 and Sonyklingt of my opinion, more enjoyable. LCD screen of Canon is good and much more detailed than Sonywith touch screen. Camcorders turn is slower than with Sony. If my daughter does something comical, until the thing is ready to host, it is gone.
So it is worth a slightly better image quality of Canon HF100 against SonyHDR compact and fast-TG3 to swap?

MfG

I have a comparative exactly two of these in the latest video Active read. What it clearly shows: Canon is much better!

Because:
The lowlight and interior shots of the TG3 are just on sd nivou (rating "insufficient"), no trace of hd! (strong noise ...)
The HF100 is with the rating "good" one of the few cams, the lowlight usable results.
With sony cameras is generally advised to switch to stereo, because the sound will seem "full" should sound. So you can equal the stereo cam-take of canon! The rush is the TG3 anyway clearer than in the canon.
sachen in contrast, visual errors, image noise and the autofocus is clearly synonymous sony rear tuned ...

I would actively look at the video zeitschrift buy and read the report, but I would immediately take the canon.

mfg,
Fabian

@ Vangog - I do not quite understand what the contribution is intended.

Sonyim you like the picture better, you see only small differences between the two then take the SonyTG 3rd
Is it klaro.

Because nothing brings it anyway if the Canon Pro filmmakers (like me) a very different view have.

Yourself, the camera fell, not any users here.
