I have last week bought the Canon HV20.
Now I have to first test shots Sony Premium tape is used, because I already had at home.
Is this a problem if I now switched cassettes of Panasonic? Namely finally got a 3-pack purchased.
After I read here in this forum have the Sony cassette is not good for the camcorder, I consider whether I still use it now or not.

no other cartridge of opinion as far apart as Sony Premium. If your camcorder is working properly so, then there is nothing to keep this band places.
The combined operation with various band types, most users, however, be avoided.

Then climb to Panasonic. I do not think that 30 minutes recording in the camcorder for all eternity shape. My equipment is now almost exclusively with Panasonic tapes, but sometimes is synonymous times in a Sony premium.
The tape you have not thrown away when it is already recording. Archive is synonymous with the other.

A second Sony tape so I still synonymous. Is still new.

I must have something clear.
I was not always the Sony Premiums had been particularly bad for JVC and Canon are suitable.
There is a slight tendency (own experience, communication of service people, experiences of other users) the premiums for a faster wear (smear) for Canon and JVC camcorder provide. That is not to say that they are completely unsuitable.

Actually wanted to watch the videos via DV IN with the new camcorder for eternity through play.
Can I use these tapes? Or should I better synonymous here with Panasonic to stay?

Get crazy not considered absolutely necessary. My previous camcorder are all gone with various bands and had never encountered any problems such as drop-outs. A regular maintenance and cleaning inside was obviously synonymous.

Quite my opinion;
had good experiences synonymous with TDK, Fuji, Panasonic. Just do not mix with Sony. That is probably true.
On my HV10, I use TDK currently.
