Frage von miairjordan:

Good morning, I wish

I have a question

I have my equipment in front of a retrofit vx 1000 and now have the following problem ... I asked initially for vx 2100 decided, but I am not sure whether I perhaps should buy the FX1. the problem lies, as I for many years with the vx 1000 filmed, is all my footage to 4:3. I know not how it looks with the FX7. the FX1 can only film to 16:9, so that this cam for me nciht into consideration.

So the FX1 can already 4:3 film (I think) but the image is then stretched?

Please rat

gibts before and disadvantages?

Many thanks in advance ...

In DV mode, the FX1 in 4:3 film, but not in HDV mode. And just to DV mode to film, I would not use FX1 - honestly. Thus, I would just in HDV mode on film, and then you 16:9.

The pruning of the image and left rechtgs for the output to SD is only about 4:3 in the professional version of the FX1, but not yet at the FX1 themselves so one would have to make in the editing program.

I have had in the switch of DV (which I've rotated usually 4:3) to HDV (which is only 16:9) the same problem.
First, my equipment is not fully capable of 16:9 (matte or the filter stage, converter, etc.) as synonymous as you like all the 3D clips and archival material for my regular clients.
If you're not on a permanent basis due to lagging technology on the wayside like, you'll need durchringen and you sooner or later have to buy HDV (must not be immediately).
Then you will like me, willy-nilly may need to convert the remaining equipment and - unfortunately this is still much more expensive, your complete footage (to which imagery is always synonymous acts) either re-rotate (if possible), it adapts (with bar and left right or zoom in or otherwise graphically intregriert) or 3D animations, etc. and render new komponierst.

In any case, a viable new Camera. I had five years ago, times synonymous with the DSR 200 (VX900) rotated - that is the shoulder version of the VX1000 - it uses the same electronics and chips. Then I have my DSR-300 and bought back as a PD-150 (VX2000). The VX2000 or Vx2100 is so much light and synonymous sharper than the VX1000, as you have the advantages of a swivel display can use.
But if a new camera you like but I would recommend the FX1 (not the FX7, which is less sensitive to light and the lens is not as weitwinklig, also has a better FX1 Dynamics).
If you then still have the option, your freshly shot material on a full-HD monitor, then you will not regret this step and work to adapt your footage you will not be so hard.
