Frage von Gerold111:

Moin,

I film occasionally at weddings. I have a Panasonic NV-GS400, and as an external mic I use the "VideoMic" of Rode.

The problem is that I do not know exactly which setting is s.der camera is the best.

There are menu below the point mic level set three setting options:

Auto
MNL-(AGC)
MNL-(NO-AGC)

Can you tell me of what bedeudet AGC?

At the last wedding I used the setting "MNL (AGC). I then set the gain to about-20dB GAIN. With the result that) of which the major (Votes everything is much too quiet, and everything else (eg the organ or loud music at the ceremony in part) is distorted!

How is it that when I set to "Auto" agency? I can imagine that it will distort synonymous! For the Rode VideoMic is much "better" than the internal!

For some tips and explanations, I would be grateful!

there's only experiment! The three settings refer (just talking) on near, far and Automatic.

AGC = Automatic Gain Control
