We want a PC workstation for the design of sound and film up. With the Mistchips "onboard" We are not far away. For audio, we have not yet paid.
The support for our software we replied cryptically:
I suggest you go to your local music and computer stores and discuss with them what with your computer is compatible. what now not so overly helpful ;-)
The sounds will be generated via MIDI, external hardware - for example, of Roland, Yamaha & Co. - but is excluded (except of course a pure keyboard to play along to).
We therefore need a sound card with good clean sounds - there is a recommendation? Eugen

If no external hardware is then you need not be synonymous to a sound card / audio interface caring. As a sound generator sound cards are by far not as well suited as software.
For latency-free operation would be only one ASIO driver which is useful for onboard solutions as Asio4All there.

I can tell you the ESI July @ empfhehlen. Hab Page 1.5 years in use and am more than satisfied with it.
Clean sounds and, above all, are extremely clean microphone in studio quality recordings are possible.
Since the July @ a studio card is here is to note that there is no preamplifier like the "cheap" cards are installed.

Oh my, I must oppose outpost. Asio4All is not even approach such a manner as free as latency Asio native.
