've Only ever cut HDV footage in Premiere Pro. Now I stand "like the front of the Ox Mountain" as the program with the MTS data can not handle. Do I have to somehow convert before? The search function in the Forum will, unfortunately, nothing on this, although I can hardly imagine that the subject will not ever turn came.

Does anyone know a workflow, these data AVCHD in Premiere Pro CS3 to act (correct project setting) and then export the movie in best quality?

I would recommend you to update to Premiere CS5 and equal a CUDA-capable graphics card plan. With this combination, with real-time preview to work.

nVidia 460 is already there, CS5 I'm considering even synonymous. But I would not think that Premiere Pro CS3 can start with the files at all.

That CS5 is worth little more - I suspect had been synonymous. Have now synonymous since this still be found. That would be totally independent of Premiere evt, flexible and even less synonymous:

But what I think on this occasion is the sound - usually is the Dolby or AAC.
I guess major, will not be able to avoid some tests, ranging up to the specification of hardware editing program if you want to edit M2TS permanently and it is expensive
