Infoseite // Switch to HDV - XL2 keep or not?

Frage von AnZaMa:

Good evening,

I have grade Sonybestellt of the EX1 and will therefore switch to HDV. Now I wonder whether I should keep my XL2, or prefer to sell. After all, I would then still a very good back-up camera, but only in DV. From s.habe and I ever shoot where I need 2 cameras. However now I get still from 2000 to 2500 ¬ for the Cam. Well what would you do?

Regards

Hello,
I stand exactly the same problem :-)
synonymous wants me to buy SonyPMW EX1 and still have the XL2 and the XM1 and usually need 2 cameras.
And yes, the ex1 FULL HD and not HDV filming, so 1920 and not 1440, or what it is :-)
I tend to but at the moment until the spring with the purchase would have to wait and be still like a second camera, the cheaper than the ex1 is on their material but I can mix, which is with an HDV camera, I do not go, I think because the sound is not synchronous.

Well I must honestly say I'm not so up to date as HD is concerned, but your problem may very well understood, but may I tell you because, unfortunately, synonymous not help.
For my other thoughts, the XL2 still 1-2 years to keep me and füe the time yet to buy a second, so if you want to sell I would be interested :-) maybe think DV is still not ok now, have only recently when a friend of me filmed concert, with XL2 and XM1, of geguckt DVD and on a 50 inch full hd and was with the picture very happy, but something new Sonyist fine :-)

If you completely switch to HDV, you use the XL2 nothing. I would sell them, nor scarce NEN 1000 and lay out the XHA1 as a second camcorder to buy.
