SxS-compatible SSD Express card of Verbatim?Of rudi - 16 Mar 2009 11:20:00 Verbatim has at CeBIT 2009 introduced new memory cards, directly into the ExpressCard slot of a notebook can be pushed. Thus these maps resemble very much the SxS standard. Now of course, one wonders whether this synonymous with Sony's camera-compatible format, which is mainly in the EX1 and EX3 used. The data rates are expected in any case, with max. 120MB/Sek (reading) and max. 30MB/Sek (letter) fast enough, and the targeted EIA Prices of SSD Express Card "also sounds very tempting: 16GB = 79 euro, 32 euro = 139 GB and 64 GB = 259 euros. Verbatim even mentioned in its press release SxS with no word, but after already ein normaler Kensigton ExpressCard-Reader This is an auto-generated entry

If the cards are the same, the Verbatim in January at Macworld in the U.S. has presented to it looks like with the usability of the EX-series probably bad: http://dvxuser.com/V6/showthread.php?t=158116

There are a bunch of different Heststeller for such cards and. Most do not work. A Adapter and SD cards are cheaper and compatible, such a card you need Verbatim really not.

I am using synonymous one (MXR) with SD cards, but cards would be cheap of Verbatim finely ... Finally, one would enable a genuine substitute for SxS cards of Sony, because synonymous to high-speed photography could do so (as opposed to the adapter solution).
