so the day is half rum and still nothing of my Hi8 tapes to PC :-(
My constellation is:
- A Sony Hi8 Camcorder CCD-V800E and ne plethora old tapes -> the data will be via S-Video Out and Audio In Out
- A DV camcorder SonyDCR-TRV900E purely -> does synonymous -> record on tape is synonymous -> but once I get the data via
DV in / out, Firewire in the PC or notebook and wants to bring the / connect the cable, the LCD display s.TRV900E away.
On TRV900E DV-in is set, and I get the synonymous not changed (although in the DV-out menu appears).
Already have different firewire cable and PC and notebook probiert, everywhere the same.
What am I doing wrong? What am I doing wrong?
Can I please, please someone an 'idiot Instructions' issue ;-)

You can with the TRV900 is not looping. So just about the detour via tape recording. That was only with the successors.

more can they really do not.
However, it is for such tasks easy to pity.
Take a ADVC100/110 (possibly borrowed) then you are better served.

At least I was not too silly - Phew!
Well then stop it on tape - but my Hi8 tapes are 90Minuten-the DV 's only 60 in SP mode - what is the difference in quality of DV tapes in LP mode (only for dubbing)?

Since you have to, willy-nilly for a 90-minute tape DV tapes to use 1.5 - Qssssssszischhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh !!!!!!!

if it is a "regular" tape, there is no difference.
The problem is it only when an LP tape on another player is to be played.

Use, however, the Panasonic professional tapes.
