Hi Benny,
no, that is only possible with camcorders that have the NightShot function. In order to capture infrared rays, make sure that is the IR filter from the beam path of the lens can be swung out and the same is only possible with camcorders that have the appropriate function.
Why do you need this NightShot anyway? Better quality images at night provides the use of a video light with visible light.
