I want to buy me a TV card for my PC. Reason: I need the reception of Russian TV stations, such as ORT, RTR, RTVi as synonymous of U.S. stations.
Does anyone have experience with the practicality of such a system? How fast does the Internet have to be for you have good reception? THANK s.alle.

There are two possibilities here, but you mixed:

First option: watching television over the Internet. The pictures are small and not very good mouse hole. Simple Calculator is enough. In contrast, the radio programs on the Internet are enormous and have the quality synonymous.

Second option: If you have the ability to place multiple Rich Litt dish on the roof or on the floor: Buy a good TV card for DVB-S. Maybe later buy extra software for a DVB card.

Now I know I is not with SECAM and NTSC - whether the synonymous in the data stream.
