His knowledge of jazz give him a job as a girls-for-all at the nightclub owner sinistren Finney (Sting). So Brendan is in the clashes between Finney and the sneaky Texas Immobilienhai Cosmo (Tommy Lee Jones) caught, the whole neighborhood wants to buy. It also falls into Brendan Kate (Melanie Griffith), the ex-lover of the rogue.
Solely because of the scene in which the drinking joyful "Krakow Jazz Ensemble" at a reception a very idiosyncratic interpretation of the American national anthem, is the film worth seeing. In addition to this pearl of course there are still consistent in character, for their development are Figgis takes time. The actors convince flatly, the local color is beautifully drawn and in addition to all drama remains synonymous nor place for a little humor.
