Hello,
I want to capture images of my Hauppage WinTV PVR using Virtualdub films from television, because the encoding of mpg2 WinTV (included) after cutting and transcoding to DivX (smaller files with better quality) on the DivX DVD player leads to asynchrony.
The problem:
Both Virtualdub (1.6.11) as synonymous as PowerDirector Express, allow only uncompressed recordings, one can select any compression. When in capture mode Virtualdub under Video -> Compression, it is only "No Recompression: HCW2" as a choice, though as Divx 5.2 and PICVideo MJPEG are installed.
Then come out for 2 hours of uncompressed film about 100GB, are overstretched itself 320GB HD.
Who has an idea?
For help I would be very grateful!

Huffyuv have the codec installed, but Virtualdub does not display a choice of the codec when in capture mode to video - is> Compression.
What is going on there??

Oh yes, I can not choose a different format synonymous, no preference for what values I choose frame size and no preference what the data format I choose, I get the
The capture device does not support the selected video format I may be synonymous in any other recordable Program (PowerDirector Express) zbog for recording any settings (codec, etc.) do. On my old PC (Medion TV card) No problems, everything went.
Could it be that one in Hauppauge A. .. should occur?? Or there's a computermäßige solution?

So, when I had installed the stable 1.6.11 grad times, easily.
In VD, it is not.
Even more s.den Capture Driver. Look here if this is an alternative for you:

What did you set under the Device menu? The greatest opportunities I give in this case a <irgendwas with Haupauge> Driver (VFW> Direct Show). Is there sowas with you?

I am in Device "Hauppauge WinTV PVR PCI II (DirectShow) had ceased. The problem is (as already read about VD ofters too) was the fact that there are no VfW drivers? I think, but there is no VfW for the card.

I installed the drivers in the Page specified times, but has been synonymous nihcts.
In VirtualVCR I have the choice of "PICVideo MJPEG" and "huffyuv", but no sound.
On my old Medion PC with TV card because I had no Probs because VD was all there, just as in all other Progis (eg PowerDirector Express)
Has jemandnoch suggestions? Wow look really quite annoyed and frustrated.

Use F6 and not F5.
F5 = uncompressed
F6 = compressed

Clasp me in the problem. Hauppauge PVR500 MCE, and Virtual Dub. Under Videocompression the video codecs do not see the system.
