TV monitor: Are there any reference LCD devices f. AE, Premiere, etc.?
Frage von fabriquez: September 2005
No idea where the issue belongs to:
I'm looking for a screen, TV, LCD TV, which serves as an absolute reference, just so you recognize any errors and if it looks good on this monitor, it is synonymous everywhere else is playable and has a good picture. I'm working on a normal TV set, and if I play uncompressed AVI's and look at the whole thing on the plasma, I see stripes usPixelfehler, etc - but I never see on my device, no preference how well I look at it. No there.
I would prefer an LCD device, not so much space is available. Is there drankommen devices s.The SonyPVM?
Antwort von Markus:
if your video s.CRT monitor looks good, then the recordings are in order. If a plasma television with the same exposures stripes and bright dots showing, then the quality of the deinterlacing and scaling is not very good (older / cheaper plasma TV?).
How, if not s.besagten plasma TV, you want to check the recordings with a completely different monitor in the run then? And would you really optimize your movies for a few good output device, synonymous if the same movie on another monitor then visible things look worse?
Antwort von fabriquez:
I see on my CRT device is not small pixel errors, which become visible on the plasma. Similarly, I have a white colored surface in After Effects masks (inverted), so the mask cut exposing lying behind the picture as a window / level. The mask is animated when the cut is bigger, it looks quite normal for me out on the plasma, the white area above and below but is slightly darker. At first I thought it is the burned-Picture, but it moves so with. Looks halt, as if I had not made the cut with a mask, but from 2 different surfaces together built. The plasma should be ok, was not exactly cheap and is about 6 months old, but the picture is not as s.Anfang. Since we work in 2 studios, I can always just sift for the master dubbing the video on the plasma. And I want just that it's fine. If the plasma is now junk and I can rely on my? Can not be so, why do I see the pixel error (small red rectangular patch) on my no. I can not synonymous to zoom in on my Calculator in Premiere, with me nothing is visible. But then on the other cutting machine ... really strange ... arg

A plasma TV provides video images are progressive, so the device needs to deinterlace the leaked video signal. Also, the plasma panel a certain Resolutionvor who must fill the video screen. It is therefore also scaled.
All of these interventions of the plasma TV to change the video image. It is therefore of the quality and proper functioning of the hardware and firmware of the Plasma TV depending on whether the picture is neatly reproduced or not. This is one of the reasons why will be used for a comprehensive and reliable image control remains CRT monitors.
... I see on my CRT device is not small pixel errors, which become visible on the plasma.
Create a transparent views Photoshop Picture ausgefüllen with a single pixel within the Safety Area Title. Now place this pixel on a current video picture and look at it s.CRT monitor. (On my 15 "CRT fall immediately on those pixels). What is the output device could therefore be responsible for the misstatement, if not the plasma TV?
The plasma should be ok, was not exactly cheap and is about 6 months old, but the picture is not as s.Anfang.
This statement contradicts itself: The plasma should be ok, but the picture is not as s.Anfang? How then does a DVD purchase? Or the normal TV?
