Hello everyone!
I have the following problem:
I've made shots with my XM2, format 4:3.
This, I captured in Premiere. DV, Pal, 25 frames and
on the ProCoder's output as VOB and burn to DVD.
Now I note that add a sizable portion of the image in the
Output to TV is not there.
When I put the TV zoom function Picture to 1 / 2 and see the
everything is there. In full screen mode of the TV's, however, remain
the parts disappeared.
When I use the preview monitor, the premiere of "safe margin" to
Titling turn on the field corresponds to the missing
around the safe area.
Does anyone know the problem and knows how to solve it?

Hello,
the so-called. Overscan issue should be clear to everyone who deals with video editing. Each Television has s.den image borders an area that is approximately 10% of the image, and for reasons of Manufacturers manufacturing tolerance is abgekascht.

Hi Frank,
The variations could be material of Television to Television in some cases, depending on the age and model. The older a TV is, the greater is usually the Overscanbereich. This is synonymous with one of the reasons that tracks only within the Safety Area Title should be set (Picture minus 20% margin). I heard somewhere something of a plugin (for Premiere, AE, etc.) that using the TV-out, etc. So S-video, the graphics card, the picture is displayed, which was later seen synonymous to DV! ?
