Hello,
I have a Technaxx C1 and had a date problem, and although I would like to disable the date in full, but I can change the date only, but do not shut off. The user manual is not synonymous how to turn off the date and googled, I've already synonymous. (I'd come by to your beautiful page ;-))

When the manual that says is how you change the date, it could certainly be a good chance that you just can not disable the fade. In a so-called "camcorder" for 85 ¬ I would not even expect him to ever do that.

Yes, yes, humor is a beautiful thing ... ;-)
Of course, both links work, even your supposedly "unacceptable". Such a thing can be achieved by simply clicking the way out. Because of a manual, I would turn to s.den support of the manufacturer or check times whether any of the other Vivitar products, which instructions can be downloaded from the website, your C1 is similar enough.

But maybe someone else auctioned such instructions once on ebay. Just as is being sought, they probably reached maximum beyond the original price of the "Camera".

With Google, I am certainly synonymous after excluding the terms "price", "price comparison", "ebay", "slashcam" and "cheap" not find anything.
