Infoseite // TempgEnc DVD Author output Improperly

Frage von Matthias:

Hello
I have a problem with TempgEnc DVD Author 1.6.x. And although I have Pinnacle Studio with a good long MPEG video together handicrafts. (about 12.5 GB). I felt like everything beautiful on a DVD. But no idea whether this is all about. Then I read the TempgEnc DVD Author with the possibility to create a DVD and burn with DVD Shrink then. Beautiful and well, I have my Prog downloaded and various MPEG's (1GB-12, 5GB) DVD eienr trying to create the plate. But how big the file was synonymous, the result was almost always a film of kanppe 10min length and no larger than 450MB. Now my questions.

-What do I do wrong
-Can you somehow such a big movie on a DVD NO EVENT
-What is the biggest what TempgEnc DVD Author can

(Shortly to take a case that brings what: the Mpeg's are rendered with 6000Kbits/sek and have a combined playing time of 4h30min)

Thanks for all the useful answers
Matthias

Yet:)

So:
s.eine Filegrößenbeschränkung DVD Author TmpegEnc when there is no s.sich.

The limitation is partly due to the capacity of a DVD:
a one-sided DVD (DVD-5) holds 4.7GB and a double layer (DL) DVD (DVD-9) holds 8.5 GB (1)

And as the other in the file management of the operating system: Windows 98 files can not "manage 2GB, just stand FAT32 formatted disks slightly bitchy s.bei files> 2GB.

b) the route over DVDShrink is unnecessary. You can encode your files of vornerein with a lower bit rate, nothing else would make DVDShrink (with the difference that your MPG-2 compressed data would be compressed again). Also can be synonymous TMPGEnc burn your data, you need the DVDShrink then not.

Try it once a 4GB major film directly from TMPGEnc DVD-cast structure and burn too.

(1) (see synonymous: http://www.dvd-palace.de/dvdtypen.php)

BTW: Look at it in DVD Shrink at times to Edit -> Preferences, whether at Target DVD size is not "Custom" and then specify 450MB

Hello Matthias,

not be surprised if not 4.7 GB, but only about 4.4 GB of data can be burned to a DVD. Why? -> Binary number system.

OK, copy & paste halt:)

DVDShrink is then synonymous with 4464MB

Thanks for the answers only ma.
My problem is, however, continue to the output of TempgEnc DVD Author nich the whole movie but still only 10 minutes are also about 450MB. That's not normal.

Antwort von Thore Rehbach:

hm, ever looked, how much space on your system disk available? Not that the software site is available in the Temp directory stores and just as only 450MB are free. Then I found the note, which could have a problem with TMPGEnc Author of code. Mv2 video and ac3 sound, maybe just once a "multiplexed" of course. Mpg movies. If you already do all the time: just the other way pprobi times (ie video and sound capture separately). In addition, you could be done with some more information come out with (what settings, what) for source material, etc. pp. ... Everything could be important

BTW: Is it the full or demo version?
