The artifacts of CCD and CMOS image sensors of thomas - 11 oct 2007 19:04:00
How differ with CCD or CMOS sensors with videos made in appearance? This article compares the basis of the example shots of the two characteristics of sensor types - especially under the specific conditions occurring throughout their typical artifacts. To a very special picture errors, for example, the process of rolling shutter (ie the line by line gradual exposure) for CMOS chips as opposed to global shutter of CCD (here is the whole picture at once exposed - all are light sensors for the duration of the exposure time while light on).

Although not directly from the article shows
but you can from the process described
Close to the large CMOS sensor size
problems with the rolling shutter effect, since the
read the chips will take longer.
this could mean a XDCAM EX or red one
there are much more susceptible than the v1 with its tiny cmos chips.

unfortunately is still a lot more from the article did not show ... for example, that there are three different methods, a single CMOS: Full frame, frame transfer and interline scanning. There seems only one way to have been considered.
The readout of the speed of many currently in CMOS is no longer a problem ... those were the times of CCD.
The high readout speed of the bus address is exactly synonymous to it, with additional filtering options to each pixel for compensation filter groups. Unfortunately, to the additional possibilities that the CMOS has not received any.

Sorry, unfortunately this is total nonsense!

These procedures are used in CCDs, so perhaps the reason why they are not synonymous with the CMOS tested ;-)

What happens when the RED forum durchkämmt and no evidence of negative "Rolling Shutter Effect" was discovered. At least the RED because this seems to cause no problems.

However, so swivel on a football pitch,
I would like to take this cam synonymous interesting times ...
and how to behave in the store.

ps. and it was synonymous only a guess of mine.

Antwort von Marco:

There are specifically designed for CMOS sensors synonymous non-rolling shutter.

Antwort von Drop Outs bei FX7:

In my FX7 will drop outs on. These observations are as follows:
The Picture + Sound remains for 1 / 2 or up to 1 Sec stand as a Still Image and then go next as if nothing had wäre.Beim 60 min, the tape occurs at about 5-10 X.
Submited tapes: Sony DV Excellence and Sony HDV tapes. No substantial difference.
Who knows these drop outs and can tell me how he has eliminated?

What is always synonymous they may have caused the image sensors in order to make it in this thread goes, so certainly have nothing to do.

Antwort von Jan:

I would see things differently.

Artifacts occur in the picture because I think more aggressive image processing and Antitrauschfilter.

Now, yes, most companies in their CCDs and CMOS chips have an anti-noise filter is installed, a potter or more later about some vorm Processor (Sony's Clear RAW NR) others later. Sonyverspricht by a processing of chroma & Lumminanz before Processor more detail.

So the possibility is already there, with what technology the respective sensors are already equipped. The most of the artifacts on the CCD or CMOS sensors alone goes, I can not quite believe it.
