For irretrievable I would not hesitate to use only expensive HDV Digital Master.
From a previous post me a Camera Sony remained 40min DVCAM tapes left. This I sat now synonymous in the V1E.
As these DVCAM tapes synonymous in the size of Mini-DV cassettes and are minutes in a DV - or HDV Camera synonymous 60th run, which goes without further notice.
The HDV and DVCAM tapes have a slightly different material and surface characteristics as the consumer tapes. There are the Excellence in the selection of quality in manufacturing
