Infoseite // Thick strips of effects in the Avid Media Composer

Frage von Trolo:

Hello, I've worked several times with the Media Composer, but now I meet for the first time to image errors which I do not know next:

Once I create a speed effect, put on the material, ugly, thick stripes in the Picture.

At first I thought it had something to do with the fact that the material is interlaced. I have had it but when rendering of interlaced convert to progressive, and synonymous tried all other options to make sure that the material has not been filmed yet progressive, etc.
Even when I did a test export, with all sorts of codecs were the bands there. Then I have the material with another program synonymous deinterlaced and then were thick strips an integral part of the film.

Since 2 days the lines on them synonymous Stillimage one that has a color correction, complete with those stripes. That was not the case earlier. Now I wonder if it's just generally s.den effects. On the other hand, the normal aperture and image effects work properly.

With other material in the same project I have not the problem.

Have you perhaps an idea?

So if these bands do not come from the interlace mode, then I would not be very surprising.

Looks like interlaced strips that come of scaled material.

Ie the down-to upscale or was not taken to ensure that the picture is interlaced. The Skalieralgorithmus is then assumed that the picture is progressive and which are such a nice, thick strips.
