I would like. mov files that I've taken with my Kodak Zi6 in turn. avi, I can look at them s.Television in my DVD player.
What are the optimal settings I need to adjust to the program SUPER, so I have no loss of quality and the Resolution1280 RETAINING x 720 pixels.
Maybe someone can make me the settings and post me a screenshot .?????

For DVD, there is no choice. 720 x 576 (no preference whether 16:9 anamorphic or 4:3), and although in Mpeg2. Mpeg1 (VCD) DVD player can indeed synonymous, but the quality is inferior.
What you would need a program that consists of the exotic stuff that you put before him, auto, a DVD makes. I do not know sure as Mac, but I suspect that the "Nero can" (presumably:>> DVD-Video, then drag their film in here).

If your DVD player can play Divx, Xvid, MP4, or the files then you can as
AVI - / xvid/Divx/mp4 - mp3
to
720x576 - 16:9 - 1008
To convert the leave should be enough
Otherwise, as already said Axel as Mpeg2 VOB or convert to.
A screenshot does not really need it to ;-)
Simply adjust the order of
File extension aka containers - video codec - Audio Codec
to
Resolution - Aspect Ratio - data rate.
