There is an owner HVR S270, which I like problems with the tape drive have this camera. I already have the second camera, and they destroyed tapes synonymous (small and large) at the tape ejection. Two times unlucky or fundamental problem?

Apparently Sony is a general problem with large drives with DV cassette.

Just so ... in small and large cassettes, DVCAM, MiniDV and DV.
Otherwise the camera is a good tool. I am of a JVC GY-DV5100 changed. Was a Comparison to the GY-HD 200, there I was not convinced Lens.
The controls are where they belong.
Working with Flash memory is great, and gave me the tape when the salad Axxxx rescued. If it needs to go fast, I leave in addition to recording HDV to tape directly to the SD card. These recordings are in direct comparison to the (albeit 16:9) recording of a PD 170, GY-DV5xxx the best thing I've seen so far.
Work with a Z7 as a second camera to take the above to be synonymous.
But if it is indeed a general problem with the drive of the S270, there is this camera to use, with almost ¬ 10K, the camera always work, and finally this is my source of income.

I have considered synonymous to get this camera. I was unfortunately of the picture quality rather disappointed. That makes my XH A1 Backup prettier pictures. Perhaps a matter of taste, but I found the images have a faded impression - almost like the old FX1/Z1.
I would in any case, a third camera will be repaired or course. I think after the third time, you are entitled to conversion.

So I was delighted when I first saw the product shots, because I actually prefer the workflow synonymous with the pro-models of Sonygewohnt am. Unfortunately, my picture quality is very important.
