Hello,
because my laptop had no firewire port, I bought a PCMCIA card. This is now in the laptop, the hardware is detected synonymous, but when I look at the camera with the cable (supplied) to connect, still nothing comes ... (I'm playing in band mode and have the camera switched).
Why? How do I connect everything and the camera (Panasonic GS 80) set? Wär super if someone could help me.

try to isolate the fault, in order to find the cause: If the camcorder with this / another cable s.einem other computer recognized? If a camcorder with the other / another cable s.Deinem laptop recognized?
