Frage von scrooge:Salü together
Yesterday a salesman told me in the media market (naja. ..) that it now gives TFT monitor with a 97% or even 100% Color performance.
When I asked whether this monitor synonymous for the picture control and color correction can be used for videos (similar to a calibrated studio monitor), he said: Yes.
Is that so?

Antwort von Andreas_Kiel:
If so, would the studio monitors are still unlikely to sell. To correct a color is now a bit more than the ability to display 16.7 million colors to be. And anyway: who should count?
At a studio monitor include synonymous, for example, that he is color (brightness / kontrasttreu) synonymous from different viewing angles is. The experimental times with a TFT.
With the appropriate equipment (muchas ¬ ¬ ¬), one
could certainly be a TFT of the upmarket approximated to a good video about talking. But only "approximate".
Your "naja" was perfectly appropriate ;-)

Hi Andreas,
thank you for your quick response (synonymous to my other question ...).
I was at Media Markt synonymous still in the camcorder department. They were already overwhelmed with the notion AVCHD. ;-)
What is it made with a tool like OnLocation (formerly DV Rack). Since I can to assess the colors then yes synonymous only rely on its readings, but not on the preview image, which is then s.einem notebook TFT display, right?
Without a studio monitor is probably the classic Television s.ehesten still suitable if it is with blue glasses per color / brightness / contrast adjusted or?
Many greetings
