Dreh auf DV - Umwandlung zu Digibeta / zu 35mm ?

Turning on DV - conversion to Digibeta / to 35mm?

Frage von Truety:
April 2007

Hi,

Beginners'm bloody, many thanks for all hints!
I am shooting a film on DV. This film is synonymous to run on television, but yes it must have the format Digibeta. This has already been much written, but I have not yet fully understood: How big is the loss of quality when converting? Merkt you much?

And if the Digibeta in movies will be shown: If the quality loss due to the size of the screen more clearly?

Thank you very much!

And if anyone knows reliable service, which in Digibeta DV conversion - I appreciate tips.

Truety.

Antwort von truety:

So at 35mm is really the wrong title ... sorry. it's just a question of whether or how the film in the movies can run. A conversion of DV to 35mm would be very problematic, as far as I understood ...

Antwort von robbie:

DigiBeta is, simply put "just" another recording system, as it is VHS, DV, D8, ... There ...
If you are of DV to DigiBeta walking, you will be no quality loss! DigiBeta is much higher quality than DV.
But achtung, some stations do not require their materials in DigiBeta, but sometimes synonymous in BetaSP or IMX. And with DigiBeta you are for sure on the correct page.

If you, however, with video making and Co s.Hut did not much like you write, it is synonymous perhaps a bit exaggerated, directly enter the television business ...

Schöne Grüße,
Robbie

Super, thanks. That helps sometimes next.
Short to explain: I shoot a documentary about an art project. Since we as a media partner is a broadcaster, the documentary running on TV and in the context of a festival synonymous in the Movies on the big screen. That is the plan in any case, if the quality of fits, since we are just starting out have DV material.

No, not problematic, but extremely expensive.

Because of the television: The you should clarify whether his Digibeta MUST. Maybe they synonymous DV, as long as all of the standard. I have no experience but synonymous. I would in any case with which to talk, the quality is not better when dus on Digibeta umwandelst.

It may be me that I am mistaken, but you are beginners and want a film for television or movies shoot, I understood this correctly?
A Beginner's not usually rotates for Movies and television are not synonymous, but only the professionals and not turn on IR.
If I am mistaken: sincere congratulations and good luck!

Truety Hello!

It is not recorded as an art itself, but a
DOKU?
So it is up to understand.
Since we would be interested to know what TV channel on its own
Host team does to get with amateur photographs to be tolerated.
If you are a media partner broadcaster did, it would be better
equal to clarify every detail together.

Sincerely,
DWUA
