Would like to thank my SonyKDL 37P3020 (Bravia) via VGA cable with my Fujitsu Siemens Amilo Pro Lapptop connect to TV as a monitor to use.
On laptop ext. Monitor activated at 60 Hz (lt demanded Sony manual) and Resolution800/600 pixel set. VGA input s.TV activated. TV detects signal, ie. display changes of "No Sync" to "n. Displayable" no preference whether desktop display, text or jpg images. Changing the framerate Resolutionund without success. Sony manual thoroughly studied twice, no help.
Who knows the problem?

vga? why do you not via HDMI into the TV inside? there is dvi <-> HDMI cable. the rocks quite well ...

My laptop has no dvi or HDMI output. And why not have VGA?

It is however, and even very fine, synonymous with mpeg2 in Windows Media Player.
Error was a faulty VGA cable. And you have about 1 .2 min wait until the SonyTv synchrinisiert has.
Also Resolution1280 x 768 at 60 Hz is wonderful
