Infoseite // UPDATE: ask the processor: Intel Core i7 what components?

Frage von lxRox:

Hello,

A new computer will cut her. hardware because I no longer stood on the current bin, I do not know on what kind of processor I should use.

Intel Core i7 920 4x2.67 GHz> 270th ca --

or

INTEL Core 2 Quad Q9650 4x 3.00GHz -> about 300, --

latest generation i7 (for "only" 2.67 GHz) or conventional dochein quad with 3 GHz?
cut at the moment is still DV, the transition to fullHD (EX3) but still this year.
run the computer with adobe CS4 (cs3)
Only parts installed to event. efix a mac to make it ...

ask for help early

da würd ich mal check beforehand whether the nine EFIX supports i7?
In any case, I would draw the i7 .. or an old quad and
for over 4 Ghz overclock!
Future-proof, however, you are determined with the new socket unterwechs .. mainly because the boards / RAM but synonymous pan to 20-30% more expensive!

... that should come soon ...

but pays the Neur chip with a lower clock frequency compared to the old one?

Antwort von Zizi:

in speed with little or marginal!
Depends synonymous of the programs .. but of her leistug can be ignored!
There is more you put yourself to fast RAM and a fast SSD as a system disk which are usually slower and hence the bottleneck in any current PC!
As I said when 1-300 ¬ extra charge you do not mind your leg to the new i7 .. alone because of the new board and DDR3 etc..
and if you ever want to upgrade to a stronger i7-8 ezc. you will be Socket 775 with nothing more can be found fast!

so now I have a few components together looking for:

Processor: Intel Core i7-920 4x 2.67GHz, boxed
Mainboard: Gigabyte GA-EX58-Extreme, X58
graka: MSI R4870-MD1G, Radeon HD 4870, 1024MB GDDR5
Case: Chieftec Mesh CA-01B-B-SL without power supply

what do you think? costs are now up around 800th --
remains the question:

what a power supply (high and low)?
Which RAM (4GB)?
the plates?
what cpu fan?

someone NEN tipp?

Thank you

Schonmal good choice!

Fan: use if you do not want the first OCen Boxed!
Because it is still too few for the i7 fan base there and you maybe he is good enough eh?
After Purchase, you can also always be one anyway because of the warranty Boxed buy!
RAM: http://geizhals.at/a376160.html
something in the ART!
Plates: I would create a 1TB Samsung disk storage as Bacup and buy
that: http://geizhals.at/a394706.html as a system disk!
Believe me the utopian price is profitable ... otherwise you are not a lot of the other high-end hardware when disk with no CPU and RAM can keep up!
Raptors are much too loud and little faster as normal!
Otherwise, buy a fast 7200 cost nothing and are fast enough when they are against a Raptor RAID0 or applies it!
I've currently a RAID 0 2x 750 F1 and the speed advantage you notice garnicht .. Data maybe only marginally!

ssd as a system disk - that is purely for the operating system, or for programs synonymous?
and then ask the SLC or MLC, SLC would seem better, more requests because they "survived"?

SLC!
And I would BS and the CS4 Programs or the quick and you always need to run!
32GB already rich because of the normal fall!
It would in any case I do .. believe me the box then run faster as you turn it! ;-)

Zizi hey! du bist suuuper! Thank times in between!

apparently my dealer has only one SLC ssd disk - kingston ssdnow 160GB, which costs but proud 620th --
Now they've found:
Mtron Mobi MSD 3500 32GB, 2.5 ", SATA II to 180th --
http://geizhals.at/a369144.html

will now slow times for orders in the dealer without ssd (because the price is super - e-tec.at) and then buy extra, just a power supply and ram, I must now search ...

Antwort von Zizi:

Yes e-tec is super!
Review but, if you are from Vienna ZBS. are still too Peluga / alternate etc. are synonymous if you have the super or otherwise not in e-tec should get! The Mtron SSD, I do not know .. According to the recession, however, are quite good.
SLC Sollteaber already have .. as the MLC, however, I do not know .. 100Megabyte but less is to have lots of you just might need to!
The few Mbit / s compared to the less INTEL I think you will not notice anyway!
Les bischen you still purely in the network ..

Antwort von lxRox:

so ... Now I've finally ordered:

ati radeon MD1G-R4870,
Core !" i7 Processor-920,
Chief Tech housing: LCX-01B-B-SL
blueray burner GGW-H20LRB,
motherboard gigabyte GA-EX58-EXTREME,
SamsungHD103UJ HD 1 TB, HD322HJ 320 GB,
6 GB DIMM DDR3-1600 Tri-Kit

ssd disk with the wart I have is no longer in the budget.

Now I only fear that the computer performs faster than me ;-)

All Top!
I only hope that the RAM with the CPU boards and harmony .. because I've read some of the Rams the i7 problems (abstürtze / Blue Screen)!
But rather the exception!
In that case we would have anyway warranty!

Antwort von lxRox:

ram should not make problems.

lt alternate (thanks for the tip):
The triple-channel kit fits well with the Core i7 CPUs for optimal performance A component with three or six memory modules need
