Infoseite // UT for the visually impaired: how to get away (DVB-T)?

Frage von Andreas_Kiel:

Moin, the language description for the visually impaired makes us not quite in joy, because we do not belong to the target group - but how to get off? We have here two different DVB-T decoder without a "cut" function and then another mobile device, also without function. The decoder connected s.die Television offers this function also does not.

Antwort von Andreas_Kiel:

Yes, glad you fancy - the master with us only two TV sets, and the others (specifically the s.DVB-T), unfortunately not. Everything in stereo equipment, but not even a slider for balance ...

UT running my knowledge on 2nd channel I remember s.die first DVB-S on Astra, for example, there were at BR always synonymous descriptions on Channel 2 of a stereo signal, because the two analog audio tracks of the drawer were. Meanwhile, the broadcasters and their technique digitises send the descriptions correctly as a second DVB-soundtrack, of the normal user nothing mitkriegt as long as it is not explicitly chooses. Should they accidentally be elected, you can switch in the receiver. The television should be absolutely nothing to do.

Can it really be that with DVB-T still does not work and here the game is repeated, so back the audio description on Channel 2 of a stereo signal?

That is but hopefully an isolated case. Which DVB-T region do you live?

Hi, I live in Kiel flies about 500 meters from the television tower (which I see almost full-length from the kitchen window). Both receivers ( "Skymaster DT 400") have no function to hide any Soundtrack / channel. The same is true, unfortunately, synonymous for portable Philips PET 835th
About the cable, this soundtrack is not "standard", I was able to N3 during the "scene" can be observed. Since then I must be selectively switched.
The audio commentary is always from the right speakers respectively. It nervt halt ...

Quote: Both receivers ( "Skymaster DT 400") have no function to hide any Soundtrack / channel. The same is true, unfortunately, synonymous for portable Philips PET 835th The DVB standard provides for such mandatory before switching, so that all receivers can. If, however, that you see nothing of it, as long as no second DVB-soundtrack is offered. That seems the case here. On the right channel has a different sound than on the left broadcasting, is totally against the norm.

Quote: About the cable, this soundtrack is not "standard", I was able to N3 during the "scene" can be observed. If you speak from analog cable, because herscht yes even the old 2-channel principle. Does analog cable not do otherwise, but it is okay, because then the Television as a 2-channel and recognizes by default only the left channel is reproduced.

Quote: The audio commentary is always from the right speakers respectively. And it is precisely this proves that this is incorrect broadcast. Is obviously stupid, because the DVB standard is not provided, therefore no Umschaltsignal is produced and the television will not auto switch.

For DVB-S, it was at times so that some receiver manufacturers firmware update via a helper function have built, with the manual is only the left or the right channel was selected. Eg Digenius receiver had this feature. Interestingly, in the latest firmwares are no longer there, because the channel is now correctly DVB broadcast soundtracks and the auxiliary function is no longer needed. Was probably a bit premature, when it now for DVB-T will be needed again ...

In any event it is a temporary problem, ie there is only so long as N3 in Kiel, the signal still appears similar manner.

Hi, thanks for the detailed answer - is, unfortunately, a little discouraging, but there probably only helps keep cable :-(
N3 has always had problems with the standard broadcasting: I was always annoyed years ago that the VPS signal is sometimes missing or at the wrong time, was (and thus the films are rigorously reduced ...).
Response from the NDR: nö, that is your VCR (which on all other channels recorded correctly ...).
Thank you,
Andreas

Yes, that would in any case have been much clearer. Especially if you have the statement [color = red flashing] would be preceded by the title. * hihi *
