Infoseite // Ulead Msp start after plugging of firewire device - such as off?

Frage von lutz:

Hello,
I've got a question time, I somehow I can not help themselves. But can I believe to be nothing major.
If I have a firewire device (plug it in my case it is a terratec cameo convert - converter), then automatically starts Ulead Media Studio Pro. I seem to remember that I was initially asked again what to do WinXP. At some point I've probably clicked on Yes and Windows has noticed this. Now I want to use Ulead eingentlich but not so much, but more work with Premiere. And every open Ulead, devours resources and time. This is simply annoying. My question:
Can I change this setting stored somewhere?
Thanks and gruß
Lutz

Antwort von Markus:

Hello Lutz,

Terratec put the converter on (Media Studio Pro, close) and open the Windows Explorer. The converter should be listed under Imaging devices. Click with the right mouse button on the converter and in that context menu that appears, click Properties. There, the AutoPlay tab and select command prompt, click to select the action or conduct either on No Action.

Antwort von lutz:

Hello,
for me the converter as AVC is entered konvormer DV camcorder. And if I go to properties because there is only the general index cards and color management. A startup there's not, unfortunately.
I wonder now if it is properly installed, of course, because he is not registered as an imaging device, but it all works.
One other tip?
Greeting
Lutz

From the Management Console of XP, you can still work as synonymous ...

But be careful ... here some can break!

At the command prompt (or gpedit gpedit.exe) call - so you open the Group Policy ...

Here you can wind all the windows features on or off at will and!
