moviemk.exe has the version 6.5.2600.2180
They wanted to uninstall, but it is under Sytemsteuerung / Software garnicht listed.
Can I just have a later version drüber insstallieren?
Must associated files previously deleted?

WMM XP fall (as synonymous as Netmeeting) on the monitoring of the system files eyed. Although they can be deleted (with luck), but XP makes it again. That is my experience when I was part of version 2 and wanted to update it continuously gave errors.
In Control Panel, WMM is not present, not synonymous with Windows components. This helps only: switch off the file system monitor (google ... I know no longer synonymous memorized), delete, registry entries and try to remove the new version of the CD s.of b) of Microsoft drauf playing.
I would give the error but not in the WMM search. The damage of executable files (. Exe) and DLLs is (apart from the plate GAU) is extremely rare, as it is read-only files, and just as good as when writing zerledert be.
So rather check out: what was recently changed s.System, and WMM s.wann was silly?

Movie Maker is part of Winmdows Service Pack 2 and contained therein.
