Infoseite // Upgrade to Edius DVX, open questions

Frage von Michael-O:

Hello,

We use several computers ne perfectly ordinary DV Raptor, unfortunately, have become paralyzed.

want to change one or the other computer on Edius DVX had, like liquid made but does not, because we did a couple of questions.

We only use Premiere 6.5

1. of open DVRaptor projects with the new map would be no problem?
2. I can the full scope (real-time and the 30 filters, etc.) with Premiere 6.5 or must I use to make premiere pro / Edius abstirche?
3. There's support MPEG2 encoding as in the storm 2 cards?

thanks

bye

Antwort von WeiZen:

Moin,
The DVX does not have a hardware MPEG encoder. Besides the lack of connections AnalogIn she is a Storm without MPEG encoder.

Antwort von camworks:

What do you mean with "raptor projects"? raptor edit?

raptor can not edit projects are loaded into Edius. other words: projects completed in rapedit, new projects directly in Edius or Premiere pro create and edit.

Antwort von Bruno Peter:

Not only the hardware MPEG encoder is missing for the DVX-Map of Canopus, synonymous of the A / D converter. For me it would be a suitable card!

Antwort von Michael-O:

erstmal danke für die antworten.

well, not MPEG2, which can survive.

the AD converter is no preference to me and got very very rare analog material, but w hen, I sharpen the recorder through my JVC DV.

CAMWorks,

no, not raptor edit

We only use Premiere 6.5. I asked if the plugin projects synonymous with the old dv dv raptor opens, so I would not for instance, the preview needs to re-render and so.

does anybody know about point 2 is still accurate?

The only question is: where whose needs / requirements are. Surely you are, Peter Bruno, a huge pile of analog material more than many other (younger) man.
Best regards,
