Infoseite // VHS Capture: Recording jerky / Picture jumps out and her.

Frage von gerdjohannes:

Hello!

I'd love a couple of films of VHS tape to DVD (hard drive is sufficient to copy synonymous).
Playback works, only to see at recording the video starts to jerk and jump and her.

I have connected the VCR s.The TV card (WinTV Express) (via composite video) and uswith WinTV2000, ulead media studio, virtual vcr tried to record a Avi.
Even the installation of various codec packs has brought nothing.
A friend had recommended me as Huffyuv or PcVideo Mjpeg.
I read somewhere of a device that will interconnect to, but actually I am too expensive ...
The system, it should not be synonymous,
got an Athlon 2800 +, 1 GB of Ram and still have enough memory on hard drive.
In another forum post was written, that may be s.der quality of the tape, but it does play smoothly synonymous!?
Somehow, I get no green branch :((((
Maybe even someone an idea. Were superklasse. Thanks!

Best regards,

Markus

Hello namesake

what options are left, if your TV card does not cope with the video signal comes to you and an A / D converter is too expensive? In this case, a TBC would certainly not synonymous in question - quite apart from the fact that the bead (TBC) before swine (TV card) would be thrown. ;-)

My favorite solution you had probably already found in one of the other contributions: FireWire FAQ">Connect your camcorder / recorder s.PC, capture and edit images

Hello!

Well, had hoped that the problem with the right codec / the right software, but it can get a grip because it puts the picture on playback is indeed correct.
Nevertheless, many thanks for the reply, maybe I'll lie to me then anyway so an A / D converter to;)

Best regards,

Markus
